Our Leader, Dr. Albert D. Kallas
President and Chief Executive Officer, Member of the Board of Directors
As Chief Executive Officer, Albert Kallas has lead VitaNova into a innovative, strategic path for growth by driving great science from the clinic to the patient to provide life-changing virological medications around the world. Dr. Kallas assumes the role of VitaNova CEO with a compelling track record of innovating medicine in the life sciences, biologics and generic drug sectors and is known for his entrepreneurial and pragmatic leadership style. He is passionate about people and culture and has a reputation for building talented teams that achieve unprecedented results. Dr. Kallas brings over two and a half decades of experience within the company to his position, including five years as the Chief Operating Officer of VitaNova Pharmaceuticals. Prior to that, Dr. Kallas also spent 9 years as a senior research scientist at VitaNova where he led the U.S. business through multiple successful commercial launches, including Vitadermis® to treat and rejuvenate burn scar tissue in 1992. Before joining VitaNova, Dr. Kallas served as a research scientist at the All-Union Scientific-Research Institute of Applied Microbiology in Obolensk, a pioneer of best-in-class virology to protect and enhance bodily function, as well as utilizing virology to combat ailments. As a scientist, Dr. Kallas understands the importance of taking a team approach to drive impactful growth in the pharmaceutical field. He holds a Doctorate in Microbiology from The Academy of Sciences of the Soviet Union.
